This tissue box cover is good quality and well made, with solid construction and a nice finish. My main limitation with this cover is that it only fits square tissue boxes. If you have a rectangular or slightly larger box, it won’t work. This makes it less versatile than I had hoped, and I wish the product listing emphasized the sizing a bit more clearly. Aside from this, the cover functions perfectly for the right size box, and it keeps the tissues easily accessible while hiding the plain packaging of most store-bought tissue boxes. The only other drawback I noticed is the price, which feels a bit steep for a simple fabric cover. While the quality justifies part of it, I expected a lower price point for something this basic. Still, overall, I’m happy with the purchase. It’s attractive, well made, and serves its purpose beautifully. My mom always had fancy tissue box covers in our home growing up but most of the examples I've seen in my travels have been basic, unattractive plastic ones that make me wonder what's the point. Just show the cardboard box that looks the same or better than cheap plastic. Anyway, I decided to channel mom and find new ones that mom will be proud of. This one is becoming one of my favorites because it is classy, almost elegant. First, its made of a black leather that looks and feels great so it fits really well in a powder room that will get a lot of eyeballs. I particularly like the gold accent stripe along the top. And one nice touch is that it doesn't just slide down over the tissue box. There is a flap on the bottom that opens up so you enclose the tissue fully in the leather box making it a better fit and easy to move around if you need to. Lastly, because it’s PU leather it should handle being occasionally wiped down to keep it clean. Read more
