I needed a cowboy hat to go with my metallic silver cowboy boots. It's not as easy a task as you'd think. It can't be too much because it will compete with the gorgeous boots and look gaudy. Can't be too traditional or the textures and styles just don't mesh. This cowboy hat hits all the right notes. It's authentically styled, but covered with a dark (I chose the black hat), sparkly material and a silver sequin hat band. It's perfect. The inside is felt, and it's comfortable to wear without itching or make me sweaty. It's a little large for my head, so it should accommodate average, slightly larger heads or people with thicker hair. There is an adjustable band inside to make it tighter as well. Perfect for an alt girl needing a western themed outfit. Very well-made, comfortable. Stays on your head well even if you have a ton of hair. The gitter stays on the hat! Most common problem with sparkly anything is the glitter getting EVERYWHERE but however they've sealed or coated this works wonders. Not a stray piece of glitter even after a night of wear. Sequin also remained secure. Hat did not come in a hat box. Sort of an outdated thing these days anyways but I was hoping it would, if for no reason other than proper storage. I love this hat! We've been binge watching Heartland which made me want to get a cowboy hat. I sort of have a straw hat for rodeos and county fairs, but this blinged version is great for partying and special occasions. Plus it's light and comfortable to wear, and doesn't make my head feel hot. I especially like that it's adjustable because it was a bit loose when I first tried it on. I bought this initially as a white elephant gift but honestly I ended up liking it after trying it on. I ordered the black one with the silver band and it actually looks better than I had expected. They send it with a form for the top so that it doesn't get mis-shaped -- which I appreciated. There is a rope inside to help with any sizing issues and I was able to make it fit down to my head size. This wasn't cheap looking at all and just looks like a great sassy hat for going out.
