Got Roots - Temporary Thinning Gray Hair Cover Up with Pigment Infused Binding Powder for Auburn Hair -

I ordered this in natural blonde. It was 5$ cheaper than another brand I had used. The color was actually a little too dark for my shade of blonde. I kept it though because someone else had mentioned how well it works on their eyebrows. Instead of exchanging it I tried it on my light brown/gray brows. It’s soooo perfect. Every brow product I’ve tried doesn’t cover the gray well and just doesn’t look good. This covers my grays and adds the perfect color to my brows. So it’s a keeper for my brows. It stays put all day until I remove it at night when I wash my face. I also applie a light coat if it on my roots again and it did the job. This product works so well for me! I am a natural redhead, specifically in the bit lighter shade as opposed to an auburn shade. For more color description clarity, young children sometimes refer to it as "orange" hair (lol), while some adults refer to it as strawberry blonde. This is important to note, as the product itself definitely presents as a darker brown shade in the container, which several prior reviews indicate as well. However, I took a leap of faith and bought it anyway to help hide my grays, especially around my temples. I am pleasantly relieved to convey that this product blends perfectly with my hair, and I would liken it to a hair chameleon; somehow, someway naturally adapting to my shade of red hair. As others have also mentioned, it indeed stays put until the next hair-washing, so then I just easily and quickly reapply. It seems like it will last quite awhile, too, so that's another plus. Well, I do like the little sponge applicator, and the compact nature of this. I ordered it in Auburn, and it is absent of any red pigment whatsoever. Sadly disappointing. I am using the sponge to apply my previous root touchup that matches much better and I’ve included a picture of the two side-by-side so you could see the difference. If you want something other than Auburn, I’m sure it’s a great fit for you but if you are a redhead and looking for something to cover your roots, this is not for you. It is very difficult to color red hair, so gray/white hair is back within just a week or two! This product is easy to use and does the job. It does feel fiborous to the touch but looks pretty good. The color isnt a perfect match of course to my auburn hair, but it blends better than my whites!!! Read more
