These ceramic pans are genuinely beautiful in person and feel like a clear upgrade from the older Teflon pans they replaced in my kitchen. The finish looks clean and modern, and the pans feel well made without being overly heavy. They immediately felt like cookware meant for regular use rather than something fragile. So far, I have cooked a grilled cheese in the smaller pan, and it went better than I expected. The bread browned evenly, the cheese melted well, and nothing stuck during cooking. Afterward, I intentionally dropped a slice of cheese onto the hot pan to see how it would behave. Normally that kind of mess would stick badly, even with some nonstick pans I have owned before. In this case, it barely clung to the surface and slid off with very little effort, which really stood out to me. One feature I really appreciate is that these pans are induction ready. I use a small 120 volt 1500 watt single burner induction cooktop when I am only cooking for myself, and these pans worked extremely well with it. They heated up very quickly and responded smoothly, which was a pleasant surprise. Many of my older pans do not perform well on induction, so having cookware that works properly across different cooking setups has been very convenient. I honestly did not expect them to work this well and was glad to be proven wrong. I also like that these pans are made without PFAS or PFOA, which makes me feel more comfortable using them often during our transition away from older nonstick cookware. That peace of mind matters when cooking frequently for family, especially with younger kids around, since we want cookware we feel good about using every day. Heat distribution has been consistent so far, and the pans have responded well on the stovetop without noticeable hot spots. Cleanup has been easy, with food residue wiping out quickly once the pans cool. While the pans are dishwasher safe, hand washing keeps them looking nicer and helps maintain the ceramic surface over time. Overall, this set has been a very positive experience and feels like a solid replacement for older nonstick pans. This is my first time using ceramic pans and I absolutely love them! I had been cooking with non-stick for decades (unfortunately for me) and when I finally awoke to the reality of just how toxic those old teflon pans were I threw them all out, and have only been cooking with cast iron and stainless steel since. Now, both cast iron and stainless are fantastic cookware, but they have their strengths and their limits. I can't make pancakes in cast iron! And I can't stand scraping residue off my stainless because I browned my food a tad too much. So, I was really missing my non-stick.. that's when I started researching my options and discovered ceramic pans. These are amazing. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting them to be as thin or light as they are, and to repeal food as easily as they do. But very sturdy, and clearly well made. The first thing I made in mine was broccoli; I like to simmer it in garlic, with water and a little clam juice (it's a fantastic flavor enhancer if you haven't tried it!), and then brown them just enough to get the juices out. Well, this always results in bits to scrape off of my stainless steel, but with these pans there was nothing - no residue. I could just wipe them clean, no washing even needed (I still washed it). I ordered this ‘Gotham Steel Hybrid 3pc Stainless Steel Non Stick Frying Pans Set’ to replace an old set of fry pans in our RV. Food was starting to stick in the old pans, so I figured it was time to replace them. This set seemed like a good one. I am totally impressed by how non-stick the pans in this ‘Gotham Steel Hybrid 3pc Stainless Steel Non Stick Frying Pans Set’ are. I have honestly never seen pans that are so easy to get food out of without spraying them first! As you can see in the pictures, I made a batch of pancakes in one of the pans, and they literally slid around inside it when they were done…just like on TV! Very impressive indeed. These fry and also clean up super easy. I use soap, but you can literally just wipe them out if you want. This ‘Gotham Steel Hybrid 3pc Stainless Steel Non Stick Frying Pans Set’ is pleasure to hold and use as well. The pans are very well balanced, so they don’t fall forward when they are full of food. And the handles are comfortable to hold and stay totally cool to the touch even on high heat. The construction of these pans is excellent. They’re quite heavy and stay put when you set them on the stove. The quality of both the stainless and non stick coating seems good as well. We will definitely look forward to using this ‘Gotham Steel Hybrid 3pc Stainless Steel Non Stick Frying Pans Set’ in our RV.
