After looking at many different makes and models during my search for a rice steamer, I opted for this one and am glad I did. It does a great job and is just the right size. The instruction booklet is easy to understand, the quality of the rice is restaurant grade, and it does not stick to the container. Cleanup is fast and easy. This unit comes with a one year warranty, but if you register it on-line, you get an additional two years, so one has three years of confidence. It seems to be well made, and there are no leakages. I like this unit a lot and would gladly purchase it again. Stay safe out there, and God bless! Read more

Love this rice cooker! It’s a perfect size and water never bubbles out the top. I had a big Aroma cooker before this one that I thought was good, but this one is so much better! Easy to clean and perfectly cooked rice. Read more

I’ve been really impressed with this rice cooker. It’s compact enough to fit on the counter without taking up space, yet it easily makes enough rice for a few meals. The rice comes out fluffy and evenly cooked every time. no sticking or burning. Cleanup is quick thanks to the nonstick inner pot. Great value for the price, and it’s super easy to use even if you’ve never owned a rice cooker before. Read more

This is probably the best minimum cost rice cooker you could buy for the following reasons: ✅ It comes from a reliable brand. ✅ It works well, I use it to cook jasmine rice, cooks it to a perfect consistency quickly. ✅ It has just the right amount of features for the price, other rice cookers compromise a lot to keep the price point low, you get a nice roomy pot, an on-off switch, multiple cook modes, it emits a beep when it's done cooking and goes into warming mode automatically, stainless steel exterior. Pretty much the only gripes I have with it: ❌ Has nothing to hold the included rice scoop. Other rice cookers have a little loop/holder on the side of the cooker to plug your rice scoop into. ❌ The aluminum plate on the underside of the lid (the one that has the silicone gasket) is not removable without taking the whole lid apart, other rice cookers allow you to remove this easily to clean it. Since it's not removable you have to use a wet towel of some sort to wipe it down or it will have bits of rice water on it that will rot. If you're on the fence about buying a rice cooker, buy one, it's absolutely crucial for anyone who eats rice regularly for the following reasons: 🤔 There isn't really a substitute, I've tried cooking rice with pots, it's terrible because the lids aren't silicone gasketed like on a rice cooker, water/steam escapes too quickly which leaves your rice looking weak and thin, rice cookers keep most of the heat and steam inside (minus what goes out the small pressure vent), which makes the rice look bigger, fluffier, and tastier. 🤔 Pots tend to get hotter on the bottom where the heat is being applied so you usually end up with some rice crispy or stuck on the bottom, a rice cooker cooks evenly and is insulated to keep the heat energy inside, the air around the rice cooker stays cool, the kitchen stays cool. Because it keeps the heat insulated inside and the heat is transferred directly to the pot, it doesn't require as much heat to cook, which means it uses less electricity (higher efficiency) than a non-induction electric stove. With the astronomical costs of electricity these days due to AI data centers raising the price/KwH, cooking inefficiently is no longer an option. 🤔 The larger, fluffier rice grains have more water in them so they fill you up more by volume, which means you need less uncooked rice to feel full, which saves you money since the price of rice right now is crazy. For example when I used to cook rice on an electric stove with a non-stick pot, two cups of uncooked rice made roughly what one cup would make with this thing by volume. 🤔 With pots you need to mind the stove and stir it repeatedly to avoid burning the rice, I just leave this thing cooking, go do my thing, come back when it beeps and the rice is cooked perfectly, no waste, no hassle. If your task makes you forget the rice is done, it goes into warm mode automatically so you never burn it. There have been times I accidentally left it in warm mode for up to half an hour, rice was still perfect in the pot. Read more
