These are great tree lights. They seem durable, and they are very bright. They don't have much of a deflector shade which allows they to cast a wide angle of light. That really lights up a tree canopy, but keep in mind that it means you don't want to place these where you'll be looking into the light since there's no shade to block light on the sides. Mine connected easily to WiFi, and I appreciated that there was no need to push a pairing button which makes it easier to set these up outside. The app is full of many different scenes, and for the options that rotate through different colors, you can often control the speed the colors change (which I appreciate since I prefer a slower transition between colors). These tree lights are amazing. They make the tree glow with an intense brightness. It's almost like it's illuminated from the inside. The Govee tree lights have exceeded all of my expectations. Everyone who saw them commented on them, they have brilliant colors, easy customization and can be used for various seasons and holidays. The media could not be loaded. I have a strong appreciation for Govee lights, having purchased five of their products for my outdoor setup. Ideally, I would prefer four lights instead of three, as the current configuration does not provide adequate illumination for my needs; I have positioned them at the front of the tree. Unfortunately, after about two months of use, the lights ceased functioning. Despite following all troubleshooting steps, I was unable to restore their operation. Since the issue arose after the 30-day warranty period, I reached out to Govee to report the malfunction. They responded promptly, apologized for the inconvenience, and requested that I return the defective lights for examination. They quickly sent me a replacement set, which has been working flawlessly since. Read more
