When I obtained a new computer, I realized almost to my horror that with the way the GPU would be suspended within the case, there was a genuine potential for the card to sag under its own weight and potentially ruin the card or the case. This is not something you really want to think about when you spend thousands of dollars on a computer system, so I immediately took to various sites for recommendations for ways to support the GPU and eventually, I stumbled upon this little thing. I will admit that I was a bit skeptical at first when I received it. The item itself doesn't really look like much, and despite feeling fairly sturdy, I wasn't sure how well it would do in the case itself or if it would even be that supportive. Turns out I was worried for nothing. The head being telescopic means it can neatly and snugly fit between the bottom of your GPU and the case regardless of the height, and once it's in there, it is IN THERE. Neither the support or the card are going to move. The trickiest part was attempting to figure out where to position it so it wouldn't get in the way of the GPU's fans. With my particular card, sticking it beneath one of the corners closest to the fans along the front of the case it's in made the most sense, but your particular situation may vary.
