Good. I’ve been playing around with how to make the latte once I reconstitute the Machta. How much milk do I warm to make a serving. Don’t want to dilute it out but also don’t want it too strong. Do I add sweet cream or sugar? Need more guidance in the directions. Read more
This is life changing!! The matcha tastes very authentic and saves tons of time on the morning Read more
The sweetened version of this is an unusual, but still pleasant matcha. The coconut sugar for me cuts away a lot of the bitterness, but in doing so, it loses a bit of its matcha-ness, if that makes sense. I still find it quite nice. I like my matcha on the stronger side. For this I generally make a double shot with 1 tablespoon of the powder, while the bag for a single recommends one or two teaspoons. The powder is a fine enough texture that it dissolves well, and didn't leave any clumps when I mixed it together. Just drinking it as a shot, especially as a double is definitely strong. Even still, I didn't find it to have an overpowering bitterness. I prefer it made into a latte. It gives it the absolute perfect flavor, and sweetness for me. It looks pretty too. Considering I'm only going to get ten drinks out of this little bag, preparing it as I like, I'm conflicted on the price. That's one VERY expensive drink, but still cheaper than a coffee shop. It might be worth it, but I think I would say to get the unsweetened at this price to get the best bang for the buck, and doctor it as you please. Still, I did enjoy this slightly sweetened version. It might make a nice gift for someone who likes matcha, but not so much the bitterness. Read more

This was a smooth easy Matcha. It blended easily with just a spoon and didn’t have any of those grassy clumps. Love it! Read more
Wow! Change my life. I never said this about something as simple as Matcha, but until this product came around, I would never make Matcha at home because it is just too complicated and it always comes out grainy and disgusting. With Graba, I just poured in hot water and voilà, great Matcha!!! Super simple, delicious. One of the best products that came across in a long time. Also, I rarely write reviews, but this one deserves a great review and five stars, hands-down Read more
This is a solid 3.5 star matcha, but I am rounding up because I don't think it deserves just 3 stars. This is a fine powder matcha, and there isnt a ton in the bag (rather small sized). Matcha can be grassy, fishy, bitter, and/or sweet, so that is what I will evaluate this on. It is easy to use. I mixed a couple rounded teaspoons with hot water until well blended, then used my espresso machine to add warm frothed milk. It blended well and was a vibrant, fresh green color. There isn't hardly any "fishy" taste yo it indicating its freshness. I am not a fan of super sweet, but even to me this tasted not sweetened at all- just the faintest faint hint of sweetness. I added more sugar to it (demerara) to balance the bitterness, but the bitterness still lingered and was one of the most prominent flavors. I had hoped it would taste more grassy, but didn't get that from how I prepared it. It's decent value for the size, but not something I would say is super giftable for the connosoir, due to the bitterness being the most prominent flavor. Read more

This matcha claims to be “instant,” and after trying it, I’d say it’s not quite instant, but still quick and easy to prepare. The directions say to “stir it like you mean it” starting with just 2 ounces of warm water. So I put a shotglass measure of water into a mug, then microwaved it (why yes, I am an American, in the land that has barely heard of electric kettles) for 30 seconds, then scooped one teaspoonful of the powder in, and whisked it like I meant it. Within a few seconds it was looking nicely blended, so I proceeded to step 2: add as much water as you want (or your choice of milk, but I used water for this trial run, to see exactly how the matcha itself would taste). I stirred it after filling the mug, but it didn’t seem to need more stirring. It stayed nicely blended with no lumps or sediment. I drank about two-thirds of it and left the rest sitting for about ten minutes. When I came back to it, there was a darker layer on the bottom of the mug, indicating some settling. A quick swirl of the mug got it mixed right back up, with just a trace of gritty larger particles along the bottom when I was finishing it up. I’m more familiar with brewed green teas than the matcha style, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product tastes almost exactly like a strong, brewed green tea. The kind that’s been carefully steeped for the right amount of time, not too long. It has the bitter “edge” that’s a hallmark of green tea, but it’s not overly bitter. It is very strong. The bag says you can use 1-2 tsp to make a mugfull, but I wouldn’t recommend more than 1 tsp unless your mug is huge (like a pint or more). The color of the powder is a light green, indicating to me that the leaves were dried quickly and recently, out of the sun. The smell and taste also indicated freshness. After drinking it, I could feel the caffeine take effect steadily, and the resulting wakefulness was similar to what I’ve experienced with strong green tea on other mornings. I like that this is a very simple product with just two ingredients: matcha powder and fiber (inulin) from Jerusalem artichoke. Very healthy, and exactly the sort of green tea taste that I’m familiar with and enjoy. Read more
