Perfect black sweater. It's not the classic flat-textured merino I was expecting. It has more body, and is fuzzy and soft, almost like cashmere. I wore it almost every day for 10 days and it didn't pill. When I got back from my trip, I washed it in the washing machine in cold water on HANDWASH and laid flat to dry, and it came out perfect. My wife loves this Cashmere/Merino Wool Sweater! The blend is incredibly soft and feels like pure luxury. It's high-quality, not itchy, and the fit is elegant. She wore it all of the time last fall! This is a standard sweater. Although it says 100% cashmere, it must be on the lower end of the quality. When you first have it on, it gives the slightest feeling of itchiness; however, the longer you wear it, the more itchy it gets. Other cashmere sweaters are very smooth, thin, and has a sheen. This one is on the thicker side, and I wouldn't suspect it is cashmere if it wasn't labeled as such. I knocked it down two stars because it is itchy. However, if you pair it with a collar shirt underneath, it can be quite sharp and stylish. Read more
Bought this for my wife because I thought it would look really good on her and cashmere feels so nice. Gives a really good Preppy but put together vibe. It's really soft to touch and it's not itchy. True to size. As it's still wool I think its worth researching the best way to wash and dry to keep it from shrinking. Read more
