After reading the size chart and reviews (thank you to all who posted pics and videos!), I purchased this dress in an XL. For reference, I am approximately 5’5”, 185 lbs, 38DDD/44” bust, hour glass shape, usual size 14 in stretchy jeans. The peacock blue color is absolutely beautiful! The style and fit are very complementary on me. I have a wee bit of a belly, but the cut, style of the front pockets, and the tie help to flatter, not excentuate it. Very modestly sexy, especially with the V neck. Backside looks great, too. No need for shapewear with this dress! The fabric feels polyester, like the dresses mom bought at JCPenney’s in the ‘80s, but not a deal breaker for me. It’s just not that buttery soft fabric we are used to now and what I expected. I don’t really know how to explain it. Do not let that deter you though. I think that’s what helps it to be so flattering on the body. It’s a very comfortable, sneaky sexy, office or date night dress. It’s sturdy and washes well (cold, hang to dry). For my height it is a wee longer than the knee, but again, not a deal breaker for me. I will hem it later if I find it doesn’t work well with my taller boots. What a great fit! In every way. In my experience, it runs true to size. Comfortable, and stylish. The color is beige not off-white, but I still liked it. Just have to iron it. The fabric is a little stretchy which is good as it fits in all the right places. It’s breathable but wish it was a tad thicker. All in all, I am very satisfied! Love the color and comfort of the stretch. Length is for either someone who is super tall or who likes a really long dress. 5’3” hem hit me lower calf, then because of that the slit isn’t long enough to allow me much walking stride room.
