I am 5'9", 138 lbs, usually wear a sz M, and I first purchased this cute,well made shrug in a sz L. It woulda been fine, but I wanted more of a loose, slouchy look, so I returned and purchased an xxL, which fits exactly as I had hoped. It hangs longer (almost covers my butt) and is quite a bit looser than the L. If you want a more fitted fit, buy your size or even 1 sz up. But anyone tall and slim like me can wear the XXL just fine, as long as you want more length & drape. As far as colors, I first got the ivory, which is a true off white, but not yellowish. The XXL I decided to go a little darker and got the apricot, which I would say is more a cream color. I like it well enough that I just bought it in 2 more colors. UPDATE: I purchased in khaki, which is a very nice color, and black, both once again in 2XL. Well, the khaki fits exactly like the other 2 in the same sz I bought previously. The black is smaller and shorter for some reason. I thought maybe was mismarked, so I repurchased (before sending the other black one back)and it still fits the same, it's about 3" shorter than the others in the same sz. So I'm thinking, were just the black ones sized differently? On prime day I purchased the gray-pink because I love the color(I call it a mauve), again in a sz 2xl, and like the black ones, it is also shorter than the first two 2xl ones I bought. So, there must be a quality control issue? Since I have several other black cardis, I'm returning the black ones since they do not have the longer length I prefer. I'll keep the gray pink one because I love the color. Keep in mind, these are rather delicate and will snag/pull easily, so be careful w/ jewelry, purse buckles, etc. Read more

I love these shrugs! I have the black one and the white one. They mostly stay in place. I don't have to spend all night tugging them back on my shoulder. They are so soft, and a good quality. They're great at being a light sweater and at keeping my arms covered. I've washed and dried both of them multiple times, and they haven't lost their shape or shrunk. Read more
