* I have ordered from this company before and like their styles and appreciate their quality. But this particular blouse is one of the best! * It arrived VERY wrinkled. It's the type of fabric I thought would possibly release the wrinkles in the wash. So I washed in cool water with a gentle cycle. I tossed it in the dryer on medium heat and most of the wrinkles were gone. A light touch-up with a warm iron (or a steamer) took out the rest. * However...I would recommend ironing it from the inside. The fabric will take on a shine over the seams or if the heat is too high. (Testing a spot inside confirmed this.) * Even with the little extra care required, it's a gorgeous blouse: the cut is very flattering; there's ample room for a larger bust; the buttons are perfectly placed to avoid gaping; the peplum allows for room around the hips; and the sleeves aren't ridiculously long (as so many are nowadays). * Highly recommend! I have been making updates to my wardrobe and GRACE KARIN is one of my favorite designers! I find her clothes to be very comfortable and flattering to wear! I have received a lot of compliments when I have worn this shirt. The cut of the shirt is very flattering to the feminine figure (even those of us who are wanting to hide some extra weight). I genuinely love this shirt. It is a classy, flattering style that has a nice little v-neck but doesn't plunge low. It is slightly sheer but not any more than your standard white dress shirt/blouse. The sleeves and cuffs have a nice flow ( I may move the buttons in slightly, but only because I have short arms and tiny wrists.) The smocking in the back gives it a nice waistline but also means there is some stretch around the middle for comfort. The fabric is fairly breathable and is precisely as listed. The size Small shirt is slightly big on my 5'1", 115 lb, short-armed frame. It still looks nice enough though that I will probavly try to shrink it a bit in the drier. Beautiful. Fits true to size. I am 5'1/148 pounds. Ordered large. It fits well but I like my shirts to fit a bit bigger, so I ordered a xl as well. Love them both. Material is a bit stretchy. Washes well. No need to iron. Not too sheer. Love it. Ordered both black and white. Read more
Cute and flattering style and beautiful color but I had to return because it was too tight in the chest. This however could be a me thing because I am small (wear a medium) but have a larger chest (36 D) which can make finding clothing that doesn’t gap difficult. Even ordering up a size didn’t work though in this case. For a person with a less full chest I would say sizing is true and it’s a classy top that pairs with slacks or jeans.
