This is a nice quality cardigan, nice medium thickness but breatheable material and the detail on the bottom and the end of the sleeves adds a cute touch. I feel it runs large and boxy. Did not like how it looked as a solo top, very unflattering. As an open cardigan it looks much better and that is how I will wear it. For the price ($20 at time of review) I think it is worth it to have an added cardigan in the closet to throw on over tops and dresses for cold offices, etc. For reference, I am 5'5'', 130-135 lbs and wearing a small. Grace Karin clothes are almost always perfect in my eyes, and this short sleeved cardigan is no different. I’m 5’5” and 180, wearing a size xl. The material is 85% cotton and 15% polyester so it feels really soft against my skin. The sweater has 6 buttons and a v neck. It can be worn like a top buttoned up or open like a cardigan. There is pointelle detailing around the sleeves and bottom of the sweater so it’s very pretty and feminine without being too precious (like lace or ruffles). The quality is there. The material is very finely knitted without any pulls, snags, or holes. It is pieced together well without any loose threads and the seams are tight. When this sweater arrived, I thought, "Oh no - it will be wrinkled forever." But, happily, I was wrong! Turns out, this short-sleeved cardigan washed and dried beautifully. Being able to wash and dry something I plan on wearing often is a must, due to my needy cats. They insist on lounging in my lap with a paw or head nestled on my top, and they don't take no for an answer. Just look at how smooth and wrinkle-free this sweater is after washing. I love the detailing on this, and the sleeve length is just right. The material is very soft, and drapes easily. The color is one of my favorites. I don't know what the current name is for this purplish-blue color - I call it periwinkle. It goes with so many other colors, and brightens up everything it's paired with. I ordered this Grace Karin button up cardigan and just love the way it looks and feels. The stitching pattern on the waist and sleeves really give it a quality look. I have other cardigans but they have a rather simple and plain design. I ordered mine in the Khaki color in the small size. This is the size I typically wear and this fits me well, so you should be able to confidently order your normal size. I usually wear my cardigans as a cover over other clothing but this can be worn buttoned as a stand alone or open over other clothing. The material is 85% cotton, 15% polyester and is really light, soft and comfortable.
