I love how this dress reminds me of the 1940s style era when people used to dress really nicely to go to dinner. The gorgeous colors exactly as pictures online and the cut of the dress compliments, my figure in all the right places. Also, the material is easy care and as you can see from the photos, there’s not many wrinkles, and I put it on immediately after opening it from the package so that tells me it resists wrinkling. The sizing is true to size. I usually wear a size large. I am 5’ 1” and 156 pounds. I take ballroom dance classes, and this dress would be perfect to practice dancing the East Coast West Coast swing because even though it’s comfortable, it looks just beautiful and I could see myself dancing in this dress all night with no problem! I really wanted to love this dress... It looks cute at first, but then it rides up when I move and pucker's in weird places. When I first put it on, and everything is in the correct place, it looks good. But then, once moving around a bit, it rides up and the pleats end up blousing and puckering, and it just looks odd. Nobody wants to spend the day pulling their dress down to keep it in place... Perhaps if I lose a few pounds it would stay put? Besides the puckering, I actually do like the dress. It's a beautiful bright vibrant teal with gold accents. The material is soft and has just enough stretch to make it very comfortable. While I usually go with a V-neck neckline, this is a great little dress, because of the section I took a picture of. The waistline has this draping drop of material with a gold chain clasp. I am at a heavier weight than I want to be, and that waistline is super flattering.
