I got this GraduationMall Unisex Premium Matte Gown as part of a Ruth Bader Ginsburg costume and I was surprised and pleased at the exceptional quality. It is made of 100% woven polyester fabric and it is not sheer at all. The care label says to machine wash or dry clean and to iron on low heat setting. I ordered using the size chart and it is perfect. It features a zip front closure that is expertly applied and functions smoothly. There are pleats in the front and gathers in the back so it's full enough to hang very nicely over your clothing. The sleeves are nice and full, too. The yoke is fully lined with self fabric so it lays properly and provides appropriate structure. It falls to just below calf length. There are no pockets. The workmanship is excellent - surprising for the price. I am using it as a costume but it would be excellent for a graduation or a choir, too. It is a quality garment. Read more

The graduation gown is very well made and looks great, especially considering it isn't expensive. I bought it to use for my Ruth Bader Ginsburg Halloween costume. I had to return it though, because it was way to big on me. The length was fine, sizing is based on height. But I ordered the full fit (FF) because it's made overseas, and I thought it would run very small. Of course, a graduation gown isn't a fitted garment, so I figured I'd err on the side of it being a little loose rather than made for a teenager of the same height. I'm not sure of how it would fit a man, but the 5'6"-5'8" FF size would probably fit a woman who wears a size 24 or larger. Read more

The gown fits perfect for my height. I ordered the size 51. I am 5’7” and weigh 126 lbs, and the length passes my ankles. Because of my weight it fits loose but I suppose is the way it suppose to fit. Overall it serves the purpose, if I want it to look more snug which I probably don’t care, I will use a clothespin on the back just for matters of pictures. Anyways I am happy with the gown since I couldn’t afford the one they sell at school for $60. Honestly I am happy I am finally graduating at the age of 46 and I will be the first person to graduate from college in my family, so the look of the gown, which I probably won’t wear again after graduating, is the least of my concerns.
