This is your basic ear irrigation basin, molded in white plastic with a slightly rough surface that makes it easier and more pleasant to hold than most I've used. It also seems to be more substantial, and I expect it to last for the remainder of my career or until somebody "borrows" it and forgets to return it, whichever comes first. I have a feeling that it'll eventually lose the snappy-looking bright white finish, but that seems to happen to all plastic ear basins. If you're equipping a medical office, you don't have to get every small piece of equipment from the big surgical-equipment companies, and you can save a small but welcome amount of money by breaking out of the mold. If you have to have a cup to catch waste when irrigating your ear canals, this one does a good job. It catches and hold liquid just as a cup should do. Oh, and the little cut-out for your ear helps immensely and works well (unless you have giant Dumbo ears). Worth whatever it was I paid for it. Get one, all you dirty ear-canal people! Read more

I am very satisfied with this product. It was reasonable, arrived quickly and is of good quality. I usually have to go to the doctor's office 2-3 times per year to have my ears irrigated since my ear canal isn't condusive to proper draining and the wax builds up. I also purchased an AcuLife earwax removal syringe to use with the basin. Now I use earwax removal drops one day and the next day I irrigate. Doing this monthly keeps my ears in good condition. I can hear better and my ears feel good all the time and I've saved the time and money of seeing a doctor. Read more

I bought the Ear Basin to go with the Doctor Easy Elephant Ear Washer. I put the ear basin below my grandsons ear as I squirt water in it. The bowl catches the water and any ear wax that comes out. It does the job. Read more

This thing is great. I got my ears pierced and wanted to be able to spray or pour the salt solutions for healing piercings. This allows me to contain the extra liquid that runs off rather than ending up on me. It's a bit awkward to maneuver by myself (holding this which blocks my mirror view and spraying) but it helps a ton even when I don't quite hold it close enough to my head to catch it all. Read more
