My favorite toiletry bag! Great size to fit all of my toiletries. I like how they have a separate compartment for your "wet" items like shampoo/soap containers. I like the individual compartments for all your different toiletries. The zipper is strong and of good quality. I like thickness and overall strength of the bag. Read more
I got this bag to shrink my historical Dopp kit / bathroom bag. I've had the same old bag for 10+ years. I realized I was carrying a full size deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. My bathroom bag was about the only thing I could carry in the cargo section of my laptop bag. Enter this Gravel bag (thanks to Pack Hacker for the suggestion). It's big enough for the shrunken set of essentials I acquired. I can now take my laptop bag with this Dopp kit and a small packing cube. No additional bag necessary. I like the silicone strap. My old kit had a metal hook that went over towel racks and the like. This silicone strap is similar in functionality isn't rigid. The main compartment has just enough space for my micro-sized accessories. The toothbrush side holds my Philips Sonicare One brush just fine. I'm very happy with my purchase. Read more

Firstly, I like this. Good compact size, and it seems well made. My only complaint is that I wish there was some internal organization.. like webbed pockets or something to keep things from being just a bag of unorganized items. Read more
I was shopping for a new toiletries bag and saw the video for this bag. The video was compelling but I wasn’t going to spend $75 for a toiletries bag so I found a cheaper (probably knock off) bag for half the price and ordered it instead. The “knock off”bag had almost as many zipper pockets but wasn’t as large as I expected and wasn’t long enough for me to pack my Sonicare toothbrush without removing the head, so I returned it and decided to splurge for the Gravel Plus bag. When the Gravel bag arrived, I was disappointed to find it was barely any larger and I still couldn’t pack the Sonicare without taking it apart. Unfortunately, I has already returned the cheaper bag and didn’t have time to order another before leaving on my trip. I’ve used this bag for two weeks now and although there isn’t anything wrong with it, (other than size), I don’t understand what other reviewers are raving about and I still don’t think its worth the price I paid. Since there are so many “reviewers” claiming it is “totally worth the price”, I thought I should let you know, it isn’t worth the high cost to everyone. Read more
I have searched for the "perfect" toiletry bag for years, and this one is by far the best one I have tried! It can fit my straightener, a full-sized hairbrush, toothbrush, a full tube of toothpaste, deodorant, travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and two soaps while still having a bit of room. It comes with a clear bag to hold your TSA-compliant bottles (it fits four), which works perfectly and can be used separately if I'm going somewhere overnight. I like the two main compartments - one big open one and the other with a few pockets and the clear bag. It takes up about half of one side of my carry-on suitcase (I have the carry-one AWAY suitcase which is 21.7" tall, 14.4" wide with a depth of 9"). Perfect for me, but if you aren't willing to give up a quarter of your carry-on suitcase to a toiletry kit this may not be for you. Read more
Used this travel dopp kit for international travel and domestic travel. The compartments are helpful (especially the covered toothbrush section) but as others have pointed out, it doesn’t utilize all the space of the bag. Biggest issue I experienced, though, were the pull zips coming loose and fall off because the D-shaped rings aren’t fully solid - there’s a gap on the straight side. The rubber pull is supposed to cover it, but it doesn’t stay still, so you’re constantly battling the zip pull to cover those gaps so it’ll both pull the zipper and remain on. I’ve already lost two of the zipper pulls because of this weird design. Because it becomes impractical to use, IMO, I’ve gone back to using my cheap, but usable wax canvas dopp kit. Read more

I knew that buying a Gravel dopp bag would be expensive, but thankfully it's been incredibly useful for my needs and I don't regret spending the extra money. The waterproof surface and slim form factor have been really useful while commuting to school every day on the bus, and the dopp bag fits nicely in my backpack. I managed to fit a toothbrush, travel-sized toothpaste, some Q-tips and floss, two travel-sized bottles of soap/shampoo, and a small stick of deodorant - pleasantly surprised at how much it was able to hold despite the small size.
