These are really cute pants. The fabric is stretchy. I typically would wear an XL but after reading the reviews, I downsized and purchased a large. I am 5'3" and purchased the short and there's no need to hem. They are perfect and comfortable. If you have a tummy, be prepared to wear a loose blouse because it emphasizes that area.
