I bought the round version of this trash can a couple years ago and like it fine but we ended up using it to store kindling (sticks) in by our woodstove because it being metal, we didn't have to be concerned about it melting. Now I decided to get two more, one for our shared desk and one for a table where we use our iPads, write, etc. in the great room. I opted for the square version this time and I really like them. They are a bit bigger than the round one and sturdier - the round one can tip over more easily. So maybe I need another square one for the kindling bin! These seem to be wellmade and unless you beat it up for some reason, it should last years. I don't like to re-buy things over time, I'd rather get something I like and keep using it for eons...or at least years :) For a trash can, it's stylish and because it's mesh, not super obvious where it sits tucked under the desk/table. If it suits your taste and size needs, I definitely recommend it. Only "con" is that it's a bit over-priced IMO, but really, given that I won't be replacing these for a long time, it's worth it. Still rocking these 5 years on. They are your typical under desk trash cans. have one under desk and one in bathroom. The one in bathroom has some rust marks, but its not bad at all for being 5 years old. They are good for their price. They weight next to nothing, and cleaning isn't hard at all. Read more

These worked really well for my sons dorm room, however the bags that came with were of no use. They were to small. Read more

From an aesthetic point of view, it is unfortunate to have to put waste paper baskets throughout the house. I don’t fancy making a statement with a trash basket. If you have children, however, they are a must in every room of the house. This particular design is lightweight and made of mesh on all sides. It’s a good size and because if it’s materials, it “disappears” in the room, so you don’t even notice it’s there. I’m not sure there’s much more you can ask of a waste paper basket, but I have bought these several times and I’m always happy with them. Read more

One of the greatest purchases for a trash can I have made. They work great for 4–6-gallon bags and are easy to carry around. Read more

These mesh wastebaskets are everything I never knew I needed in my life. These aren't just receptacles for trash—they're elegant cages for my regrets, stylish prisons for yesterday’s to-do lists, and metallic shrines to my failed diet plans (RIP carrot sticks, long live cookie wrappers). They’re mesh, which means I get a sneak peek of my own chaos from across the room. It’s like modern art, but sadder and with more crumpled receipts. And you get TWO. That’s right—one for your office, and one for the other room where you pretend to be productive. I've never been so excited to throw things away. 10 out of 10! Read more
