This coffee table is gorgeous and very sturdy. It does not get 5 stars because assembly was difficult. The instructions were very simple and easy to follow. However, the Allen wrench did not fit well into the screw tops and the screws did not fit easily into the plastic inserts to connect the pieces. Once I discovered to first work the wrench into the screw top a few times to assure good seating, and also to twist the screw into the plastic piece first to “open it up” then it got smoother to assemble, but not 100%. It was very hard dropping the screw into the slot and lining it up with the plastic piece. Once I laid on the floor and lifted the piece slightly to see where to aim it, it got better, but not 100% … the screws go in a slide hole so you can adjust as necessary so all the pieces will flush up. It was almost impossible to get the 4 screws lined up left and right of the X portion of the side panels, you can’t see in the hole because the cross bars block you view. Seriously, I almost gave up … it took me an hour and a half, only one person required to do it, but it was a very slow go. I’m glad I didn’t give up because my efforts paid off because the coffee table is lovely and perfect for my room. Don’t not buy this piece, just follow the tricks I learned and it is doable. Very nice table for the price! Very easy to put together i would say about 15 minutes, just do not tighten all the screws before you get all the boards in place. The only thing i really hate about putting things together is all the styrofoam that flies all over after you unpack. There were no missing parts, everything went together and lined up perfect. I think its not very heavy either. I think that quality was very good so i took a few pictures to post on here to show others how nice this is. Everything was clearly marked on what goes where during installation. Hope this review helps a few people. Read more
