My toy poodle became so stressed out by her pill-taking sessions that she had partial seizures. These pill pockets have definitely been a big help so far; I cut them in half and wrap them around the smaller pills; at first she didn't exactly come running when I dropped them in her dish, but she has come to realize that they're great treats. (I dip the bigger pills in cream cheese before sliding them down her throat, so at least they don't taste so bad.) I have a very greedy dog who basically eats anything that smells great. It was therefore very easy to add the medication to these pill pockets because they passed the smell test. Let’s talk about that bag for a moment though. The bag is the reason I’ve deducted a star. I’ve used these for nearly 6 years and at some point in the last few years Greenies decided to cheap out on the ziplock part of the bag. After a while, it will separate from the sides, so the bag no longer seals properly.
