I have had several slim laundry bins over the years. Most have been a wire frame with a non-woven type of fabric used as the sides and base (sometimes a useless lid.) I am replacing my old bin because of that fabric! (They hold odors and you can't take them off to clean, since they are sewn to the frame!!) We use this basket for our bathroom (where it fits perfectly in the 8" space.) This is by far the best bin I've had so far. The caster wheels roll great across my old wood floors (they are very uneven in areas but the wheels are large enough to handle it.) It has a liner that is removable and washable with a spare so it's never un usable while being washed. The woven outside it plastic and reasonably cleanable. The only thing I dislike is the it does not hold it's shape when you are moving it around because of the way the sides are attached to each other it warps a bit. Having the corner attachments done with 3 points instead of two would have solved this issue. I doesn't stop it from doing it's job but I do worry it will warp too far out of whack one day. Read more
We bought it to use as a recycling container in our kitchen and it's perfect! Holds a huge collection of plastic bottles, metal cans, paper & broken down cardboard. The cloth liners are tough and stay on securely but are easily removable to transport the contents to the recycling cart in the garage when full. Once there they empty with little effort. Having 2 liner bags means that we now just throw the dirty one in the wash and use the second once. NO more torn or wasted expensive plastic bags! Read more

I purchased two, one for me and another for my husband. As expected, he immediately told me the laundry basket his clothes were currently in was just fine. However, he now LOVES that he can just pull out the liner and throw it in the wash with the clothes and has told me several times how much nicer it looks in our room. They look great, are easy to put together and definitely take up less floor space than a laundry basket. Read more
