Bought 3 rolls of this to wrap my pole with and i am VERY upset with the quality of this tape. I wrapped it as I was supposed to, leaving no spots that can catch and not 2 uses in, the tape has completely torn and rolled up. On top of that, it’s hardly grippy at all. waste of my money Read more
Sticks well to itself. But the downside is that it sticks well to itself. So, once it touches itself it won't let go and you'll have to very carefully cut it off without scratching whatever you put it on. I put it on a pole that I dance and do tricks on. I only put it in a couple of places that I needed extra help for trick practice, but once you stick it to itself, it's on there. Another con is that it rolls down. Since I only stuck it in a few places the tops of these places, if I touch the top, start to roll down. It has rolled down so much on one spot that I had to cut the roll off because it was interfering with my climbing. Not sure what would be a better option. If you're learning new tricks on a pole, it's great to have because you want to focus on learning a trick in the proper way and not struggle with grip at the same time. However there are obstacles such as the roll down and once it's on there, it's on there. It's not the easiest to roll around a pole either and the lines aren't always straight. I used this for my old home pole so I could have a pole to try harder tricks on without worrying about grip or attire. I wrapped the pole from bottom to top. I needed 1.5 of the largest size and I did have some rolling down occur. Not a perfect solution for a silicone or powder pole replacement but adds enough grip to get the job done. If I did it all over I would probably only wraps certain contact points on the pile rather than wrap the whole pole. Read more

I do like fitness and I have very sweaty hands but this stuff is awesome! I do have to use grippy spray when I am doing extensive workouts but that is only because i sweat more than most. I ordered 2 of them and they were very easy to put on and use. It’s very thin so it doesn’t make any extra room under your hands. I suggest wrapping it bottom to top that way it’s opposite if the way your body will be sliding. Read more
Grips well at first on the stripper pole, but it starts to ripple down after a few uses. Not worth it for my chrome pole. Read more
