I love this little light. The brightness is adequate. There are three settings. No assembly required.quality seems good. There is a non slip grip between the clip, on the bottom. The look is as shown and nice. The size is perfect to cover one whole page well. If you place it near the spine, there will not be full light over the two pages. The neck is movable and is sturdy. Love this book light! I had a similar unit which I also liked, but was accidntally left behind in a hotel room on a recent trip. I bought this one as a replacement, as it looked similar to the first unit. It is similar but I was pleased to find out that it actually works better than the first one. It has 3 light settings (bright cool, not-as-bright cool, and warm light). It holds is charge longer than the first one and clips easily onto you book. The flexible arm lets you position it for optimally illuminating the text. The only minor criticism is, if you have a partner trying to sleep next to you in bed, the light is still a bit on the bright side (even with the dimmer setting); I wish it had one more lower setting for those circumstances. I picked up this Gritin book light a couple months ago, and even though I’ve only used it maybe a half dozen times so far, I’m really impressed with the battery life. I haven’t had to recharge it once yet, which is kind of wild compared to other lights I’ve owned. It’s lightweight, easy to clip on, and the adjustable brightness and color temps are nice — you can dial it in so it’s bright enough to read but not shining in your eyes or lighting up the whole room. Perfect for reading in bed without bothering anyone. I wouldn’t say it’s a life-changing gadget, but it’s a really solid little reading light that does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and the battery performance alone makes it worth it. Read more
