The depth on these is super shallow so it was squeezing my foot in a way that would have crippled me with my foot injury (the whole reason I began my barefoot journey many years ago). Also, the entire inside is covered in fleece. Entire. Even the foot bed. When you remove the liner, there’s more fleece. It’s the weirdest thing ever. On a slipper sure. On an outdoor boot no thank you. I only took the liner out to see if it gave me some much needed depth. It didn’t. But I’ve literally never seen a quality shoe company put crappy fleece lining on the foot bed under the liner. I don’t understand and I won’t be looking into any of their other stuff. I don’t think they and I are in the same page about barefoot wear. Another problem-returns. Yep. These bad puppies cost me half as much to return as buying them originally. The media could not be loaded. This is my second pair of Groundies Camden boots. The leather is much nicer and smoother now than last season’s model. I impregnated them with pedag shoe cream and they look fabulous. I like how these Chelsea boots fit like a glove, loved walking in my first Camden boots and looking forward to put miles on the new ones. I ordered the barefoot (regular) in size 9. There is also now a insole included, fuzzy microfiber, would recommend to use a lint roller on the insoles, as there was quite a bit of loose fiber. I will replace them down the road with wool felt insoles, but it’s still great that the microfiber insoles are included, will help with cutting new insoles into shape. I buy regular wool insoles in a bigger size and then cut them into a smaller barefoot shape. I ordered my new pair directly from Groundies North America, the last pair I bought on Amazon. Read more
