First impression when I got this was how strong the fragrance was. It's very aromatic and lasts a long time. The gel itself is soothing when put on the skin. If the tube were a simple plastic bottle, this review would be much higher. I think it's a great product, although expensive. Unfortunately, the metal squeeze bottle experiences material stress around the rolled up end of the tube, such that it had already developed a hole and leaked prior to arrival. It continues to leak and develop new holes, so I need to keep it lid-down in order for the product not to fall out. As of this time, it has not experienced issues with fungal growth due to it being unsealed. My hope is that there are antifungal elements to the gel which will continue to prevent this. Now, for the good part: This gel is absolutely packed with aromatics, and if you use your fingers to apply the gel to your skin, those fingers will smell strongly of the gel for the next day. It's intense and long lasting. The scent is very masculine and rather attractive. In terms of performance, my sensitive skin experienced no irritation when using this to shave. I tested this on a few different areas of the body including the lip and chin. As far as shave gels go, this works fantastic. In terms of price. I don't doubt that this is expensive stuff to make; the strength and longevity of the scent definitely speaks to high quality. I ordered this shave gel for my husband. He is one of those men that shaves his face as fast as he can - and I have no idea why he doesn't slow it down. Anyway, he has had no nicks on his face since using this gel which is a win! He said the blade just glides nicely on his skin when using the gel. We both like the scent of sandalwood and sage. The scent lingers for a little bit after shaving. His skin looks very good after using this product. He's had absolutely no skin irritation from it at all. This shaving gel smells so good. It's musky in the best possible way. It's comfortable to use and doesn't irritate my skin at all. It leaves it soft and smelling great. It is pricy, but I didn't use much each time, so I expect that it will last a couple of months. Recommended for ease of use, nice scent, and a clean, close shave. Read more
