Give it some time
When first received the brush hairs had an animal smell and it did not lather up well. As there were up to a month to return it, I decided to give it some time. Glad to have done so. The animal smell went away after 2 weeks of daily use. About the 3rd week the brush lathered the face as would be expected. The only negative is the length of the stem that holds the brush. It should be 1/2" longer so as the washed out brush has more than a fraction of an inch to dry over the wet soap in the soap dish. Read more

Received this item today. Brush does not fit in holder. Dish so small no soap can fit in it. Total waste of money. Read more
