Holy moly, they are great to clean smooth surfaces. I've been using them for years to clean my UTV's polycarbonate windshield without a scratch. The amount of dirt they can absorb is phenomenal. The only downside is the static they generate which is typical with microfiber cloth. Just wash them without fabric softener and they are good as new. Read more

Let me start by saying that I thought I was ordering the Gauntlet towel made by a more famous American company that specializes in microfiber towels (initials TRC). Upon opening the package, I realized this was not the same and that it is Chinese, not Korean and 80/20 not 70/30 as listed, but thought I would try it out anyway. I guess you can't trademark the name of a towel. Taking advantage of a pleasant late fall day, I washed both of our mid-sized SUV's simultaneously, and used this towel to dry both. It did an excellent job - it was a lot heavier at the end than when I started due to water absorption, but it was effective throughout, and was able to handle drying both vehicles with no loss of effectiveness. I was skeptical at first, looking at purely dimensions, not gsm. I did not think they would do that well drying a car, but boy, was I wrong. I was able to dry three full-size sedans with one of them. I should mention I use a leaf blower and make a few passes to get the bulk of the water off. But none the less thoroughly impressed. These towels although not used yet, are thick and soft. Will absorb large amounts of liquid. Hope for confirming results. UPDATE: Have not used on Vehicle Paint, prefer Groits Plush Edgeless. These have served well as Matts to protect items being worked on in shop. Read more

These towels are very absorbent. I use them to dry my car. One can dry the entire car. When I first started using them, they would leave a little fuzz behind but this isn’t a deal breaker. I kind of expected it. They wash well and store well inside my car kit tote so they are ready to go for the next wash. Read more
