Why did you pick this product vs others?: I originally picked this product over any other gaming chairs I looked at because it was good in size, affordable (bought at a discounted price), had free shipping, and it looked great! I figured it would be a great gift for my 6 ft tall 270 lb boyfriend. It does in-fact support his weight and size! Sturdiness: It feels pretty sturdy — I feel safe whenever I lean back in it. That is great! The footrest is also a great addition! I could fall asleep in this chair, lol! It is pretty good quality! Adjustment capability: The ability to adjust the lean function is good, it’s pretty sensitive & moves fast, but once you get the hang of it — it is easy. It leans back pretty far! The ability to adjust the height function is easy as well. If you have ever used an office chair before, it’s exactly like that. Ease of use: It’s really easy to get used to how it moves and how to control it. Building it was easy as well. I definitely recommend this if you don’t feel like building something complicated. Pros: Simple assembly. Time consuming because every part has to be bolted down. It's not a problem but it comes in a *lot* of pieces. The included hex tool is handy and perfectly sized for the job. The Lumbar support is nice. There's no vibration, but for less than $90, that's not a complaint. The colors are attractive. Cons: The moving arm rests take a bit of getting used to. The seat is a bit hard and gets uncomfortable after about half an hour. (Not a bad feature because movement is good.) Since I tend to play my keyboards standing, it's not an issue. For the price, this chair is great! I've only had it for a few weeks, but so far it is holding up well and is more comfortable than the traditional office chair. Cushions are solid yet comfortable. The lumbar support pillow is great! I wish the head support pillow was Velcro instead of a strap; it would be easier to keep at the right position. The most amazing part of the chair is how EASY it was to put together. I took me an hour simply because I am slow at assembling things. However, the directions were concise yet understandable. My gas cylinder went out after a few months most would think that would be reason to give a bad review however I reached out to the manufacturer and they had a new one sent to me via ups after just a few questions. Got the cylinder and could not remove it from the mechanism. Reach out again and they sent me a new mechanism too. Outstanding customer service and they were prompt. Was really easy to assemble. The leg rest was designed for shorter people since my legs extend to an uncomfortable resting position. The armrests could use padding. Since I was sitting on a very hard type chair this one will have to do for now. Read more
