These are GREAT!!!! I'm a baker and I use two kitchenaid mixers consistently at the same time a lot. When making cookies, sometimes I have to refrigerate the dough, and it's frustrating when I have to put the actual mixer bowl into the fridge and then I don't have another to use in its place. Now I do! These bowls are genious! They're made to fit perfectly into the mixer bowl and then you're able to move them out and cover them with the fitted lids and place them in the fridge or wherever. The fact that it comes as a set of 3 is awesome too! Most only come with just one bowl and lid. These are thick and made of amazingly durable quality material. They're as big as the mixing bowls used for the kitchenaid mixer and are able to be cleaned so easily. And because they're silicone, you can squish them down and store them in the cabinet without having to take up the normal amount of space a regular bowl would! Let’s start with the negative - these had a strong chemical scent when I got them, so strong it made me initially worried that I wouldn’t want to put food in them. However, after I ran them through the dishwasher 4-5 times this dissipated and I was happy to use them. They also came with a white, blue, and green bowl but two blue lids and no green one, which doesn’t effect functionality but does drive me crazy. Other than this, they fit my mixer bowl perfectly and I’m very excited to be able to use the mixer for multiple things without washing it in between. They come out of the dishwasher clean, and are easy to swap in and out. They will stand up on their own when filled but MUST be carried from the rim if holding anything liquidy, or it will compress and spill. The lids fit well but are not spillproof. If I were storing them in the fridge I recommend putting them inside another hard bowl of similar size to prevent accidents. Also note that the kitchen aid shield won’t fit on the bowl with these as they make the rim too thick - so you’ll have to be careful as you add ingredients while running. I absolutely love these containers! I hate having to wash my kitchenaide bowl as soon as I’m done using it to mix something else when I’m on a baking spree. I tend to make all of my muffins and breads on the same day when I can and while I could get away with reusing my bowl when it’s dirty from one bread, I can’t always do that. This also allows for me to easily mix cookie dough and chill it for a little bit before working with it and move onto something else. They are pretty easy to clean. I threw mine in the dishwasher and they washed up easily. They fit like a glove in my kitchenaide bowl. Which was great because I had no clue what size mine was. I’m hoping these last for years because they are worth their weight in gold to not have to clean my mixing bowl a thousand times a day. Read more

These silicone bowl liners fit my 5-quart KitchenAid metal bowl very well. I’m not sure why the listing says they don’t fit glass or ceramic bowls, but they fit my 5-qt bowl perfectly with no slipping during mixing. When you first take them out of the package, they need a little time to return to their original shape, but once they do, they work just fine. The silicone is flexible and easy to put on and remove. They’re also easy to clean and dishwasher safe, which is a big plus. Storage is simple since they stack nicely and don’t take up much space.
