This is very high quality material perfect for working in the kitchen. Both my husband and I spend quite a bit of time cooking-standing on our feet. Guardian floor mats help relieve foot and leg fatigue. They are easy to clean and keep the kitchen looking in good order. Read more

We use this under our wine chiller. The beauty of it is that we were able to cut it to shape and no one was the wiser! The dark color hides wine stains and keeps them off of our flooring. The cushioning keeps the chillers' feed from making dents in the floor as well. It's thicker than you'd think, but perfect for it's intended use. Very cheap insurance against wine related damages! Starting in 2016, I made a resolution to get fit and be healthy, and, as a result, I became a walker--one of those obnoxious people with a standing desk. I get between 25,000 and 35,000 steps a day at the office, and because of that, I learned some things pretty quickly about this kind of lifestyle. Without the right shoes and environment, you can get unnecessarily tired and sore very quickly. I work in a very unique office, and because we have radiant heating and cooling, unfortunately, we're stuck with good ol' barebones concrete flooring, aka, hell on the feet. At first, I purchased a 24x36 mat thinking that would suffice for my needs, but I'm a mover and a shaker. I play music at my desk to spur me on, and I like to vary up my walking with some dancey moves, and I found myself constantly stepping off my mat, not to mention, the small mat skidded everywhere across the floor. I decided to invest in a bigger mat, and after scouring Amazon, this mat seemed the best choice for the money. Many other large mats were either crazy huge or crazy expensive. Since I was spending the money myself, I needed something reasonable. This mat is just the right size for my desk space (see pictures). I can do grapevines, side steps, heel digs, and all the other moves I like without stepping off the mat. I wedged one corner under my desk and added a small piece of carpet tape on the other side, and it hasn't moved an inch since I installed it. You can see a size comparison with my old 24x36 mat, and it will give you an idea of how much bigger this is. Why four stars and not five? It's simply regarding comfort factor. I can't fault the floor mat necessarily for that. I knew from the description that it wasn't going to be as thick as my other mat, and while it clearly does soften the walk on the concrete with a memory foam-like layer, there is a noticeable difference between walking on the other mat. But when I'm feeling more tired, I can actually double up the layers, and it's like walking on a cloud--I just have to watch where I walk. Overall, I'm very happy with this mat. It's easy enough to clean with a wet mop and vacuums up well enough. I would invest in another if I needed it. Read more

Great mat! I use it in my kitchen. Having worked in an industrial environment, I learned the advantages of anti-fatigue mats in the workplace. I never thought about them at home. I had two five footers in the kitchen and replaced them with this 12 footer and moved the 5 footers to my shop. Read more

I love holding my hands in that position, but it has a few design flaws - 1, if you have an extended keyboard, it's not wide enough to fit the mouse; 2. if you have a wired keyboard, the keyboard hangs over the lip, but it's foam so I created a divot; 3. it's a little too deep, so my mid-back started to hurt. Overall however, I think this is a clever design and am glad to have purchased it. Read more

I've purchased a number of cushion mats for my workshop and find that the desirability of different vendors designs lies in the details. This mat is the one I like the best. Why? It comes down to something as simple as how the mat interacts with a shop vacuum nozzle. Most of the mats I have have a surface texture that is not deep enough to allow the nozzle to rest on the top surface and air (with entrained dirt) to pass through the low surface areas. This causes the nozzle to get sucked down onto the surface and requires a lot of physical effort to move the nozzle over the surface for cleaning. This mat, however, has sulcations deep enough to allow a good airflow to the nozzle when it is resting on the tops of the ribs. The vacuum nozzle moves easily over the surface and effectively picks up almost all debris. In addition, the product is free of logos or other imprinted advertising. Read more

I purchased the Guardian Air Step Anti-Fatigue Floor Mat for use just inside the exterior door that leads into my kitchen. It's not decorative, but it looks fine on my dark gray slate tile. The mat definitely provides cushioning; however, I was most concerned with catching debris and protecting the entrance area by the door. I set this mat in place, and it has not budged. It's a good length and really stays put! The only minor complaint I have is that dirt does show up on it, so I find myself sweeping it off 2-3 times a day. It's still easier to clean than the floor, so it serves my purposes perfectly. Read more
