If you’re trying to upgrade your setup without emptying your wallet, this Guiheng 60% keyboard and mouse combo is honestly a steal. The keyboard is small, sharp, and clean. The 61-key layout gives you way more room on your desk, and the RGB lighting hits harder than I expected for this price. Keys feel clicky, fast, and consistent, with zero cheap rattle. It’s not a high-end mechanical board, but it definitely doesn’t behave like a budget one. The mouse surprised me even more. Lightweight, smooth gliding, and the 3200 DPI actually responds well in fast games. Clicks feel crisp and the RGB ties everything together nicely. Setup took seconds. No drivers, no drama. Works on PC, Mac, and consoles with zero issues. Bottom line: for the price, this combo delivers ridiculous value. Clean look, strong performance, and way better quality than expected. If you need something affordable that still feels legit, this set gets the job done. Read more

This is an interesting mismatch of wired keyboard and mouse. The keyboard, aside from the backlighting, is plain, whereas the mouse is somewhat spaceship-ish in appearance, with Black, translucent white plastic for the RGB, and silver. The KB has a removable cable; the mouse does not. The keyboard, despite being wired, doesn't offer USB ports, and I'm not a fan of backlighting because it doesn't help you see the tops of the keycaps in the dark. The amount of pressure to activate a switch is a bit more than some of the better KBs I've evaluated, but still within a reasonable range. The keycaps are Cherry profile (slanted towards the middle depending on the row), which improves typing somewhat, and every function that I'm aware of is clearly marked on the keys. There's a definite mismatch in font size from one key to another, which is likely due to the margins that they've set for the characters. The number and function keys have been combined, and the numpad has been removed, to reduce the size of the keyboard without decreasing the key layout (distance between), which honestly is both a pro and a con for me, because I often use the numpad, but I don't mind the combining of the numbers and function keys as it makes it easier to reach things and I just have to learn where things are so that I can easily take advantage of all the special functions. Also, there are no legs, just 4 rubber feet. :( The mouse is optimal for a medium hand, is visually interesting (which will make it a bit harder to keep clean), and the silver sides provide extra friction for better grip. The scroll wheel is transparent but has a silicone grip ring on it for good friction, there are two DPI buttons so you don't have to cycle through all of the settings, and the RGB makes it interesting for those who care about that nonsense, including a marketing term emblazoned on the right button: "top gaming mouse". Feh! It has a metal plate on the bottom for extra weight and, since there are 4 screws, you can remove it. Is this a true gaming set? Nothing on the box or manual indicates special features like anti-ghosting or NKRO, and lighting does not make a keyboard and mouse gaming. Likewise, the fancy appearance of the mouse secures no benefits in gaming. I'm a casual gamer and I had no problems with either, for what that's worth - but I rarely have with any of the dozens of KB and mouses that I've evaluated! Overall, setting aside the cons, I think this is possibly the 2nd-best combo I've reviewed. Well done, Guiheng! Finally! Read more

This is a nice budget keyboard and mouse combo that works well for gaming as well as daily use. The lighting effects on the keyboard are controlled via a function key and 18 of the other keys, so there is a good variety on effects, direction, and brightness control. Unlike more expensive RGB keyboards however this keyboard does not have individual key or row-based effects. But the effects it does have, while simple, are done well, including the rainbow cycle and reactive keypress effects which flash the entire keyboard different colors while typing. The keys themselves are membrane based and have low resistance. There is a soft tactile engagement when pressing the keys fully which has a nice responsive feel to it. The keyboard is compact, lightweight plastic, and holds well to a smooth flat surface with rubber feet on the bottom. The angle is fixed with no adjustable risers. The USB cable is detachable as well which is great as it allows for different cable lengths or styles. Overall, it is an attractive keyboard that works well, and is compact, lightweight at around 400g, and durable enough for travel. The included mouse is also very lightweight at around 100g and mostly plastic with a metal plate at the bottom. The top is a nice matte finish plastic with chrome plated plastic sides. The click-feel of the main buttons is satisfying as well as the wheel increment feel. The remaining buttons including the wheel push-down feel are a little lower quality and less enjoyable to use but still functional. There does not appear to be any LED configuration with the mouse. There are DPI controls just below the wheel, which is great to have, however no visual indicator on the mouse for which DPI mode it is in. The non-removable cable to the mouse feels good quality with a red braided fabric sleeve. Overall, the mouse is a good budget gaming mouse with RGB. As a budget combo, this is a really good product for its price (under $20 at the time of this review) and is a perfect worry-free backup for me when traveling with my laptop as it is overall very lightweight and inexpensive if lost or damaged. This is a pretty good keyboard and mouse set, especially for the price. It’s not on the level of pro-grade gear, but it’s perfectly decent for someone who casually games or just wants a cool LED setup. I put together a small gaming station for my daughter, and this keyboard fit right in. The compact size makes it ideal for tight spaces, and the keyboard action feels solid enough for everyday use. The mouse isn’t as responsive as I would prefer, but my daughter enjoys using it and it works fine for her The LED lighting adds a nice touch, and overall the combo looks great on her desk. For a starter or casual setup, this kit does the job well. Don't forget to remove the plastic under the mouse! Read more
