Can’t go wrong
I’m a new mom with an uppababy cruz stroller. I love my stroller, but the only complaint I had was that it didn’t come with a cup holder- hence this purchase. I didn’t want to spend more than double this amount (at the time of purchase it was on lightning deal) on the uppababy brand bottle clip. Here is what I really like about this product-the plastic seems incredibly durable and comes with color options. The beverage holder has four rubber grippers to hold a variety of cup styles in the holder. I haven’t tried many different types of containers in the holder, but it held onto a can of seltzer easily as well as a reusable Starbucks plastic container with a straw. I preferred the straw style compared to something with a lid so it didn’t have to stop my walk, untwist the cap, drink, Re twist and then continue. (I know first world problems) My phone, an iPhone with a commuter style otter box case, fit in the phone holder no problem. (NOTE: a iPhone pro with otter box case, will NOT fit) This compartment had a hole in the bottom so it would be easy to clean out and be relatively free of junk that could possibly collect there. Here is what I’m not a fan of- the product attaches easily to the sides of the stroller, but will probably be removed for travel each time it is placed in the car. I just don’t trust it to stick out and not break. But at this price point compared to the true uppababy brand I can afford to replace it if necessary and it isn’t very difficult to attach and detach. For longer walks, the cup holder might not be big enough. I have a big 36 ounce yeti water bottle, it won’t fit in this cup holder. However with the big basket under the stroller, I can use that space instead for extra long walks. I don’t believe I would have the same problem if I had the mug style that got narrower at the bottom instead. Overall I am glad I made this purchase. Read more
