Jacks become stuck in your gear. Sheath is thiner than normal.
These cables look like an inexpensive good quality cable going around. I almost damaged a wah trying to remove this cable. I can’t proceed further risking my gear in this way. So I’ll never know how it sounds. Some resistance from new jacks and inputs is expected but these stick in well worn jacks to the point of stressing the equipment. After 35 years of playing these are the only cables I ever felt like were putting my equipment at risk determining how to unplug them. This was beyond typical break in sticking. Given the very thin sheaths I’m sure they break easier than the cables they are imitating. They feel like the think cable a new fender comes with. I should have not bought these from a tried and true good deal to save a dollar per cable and I should have proceeded not to plug this into a 20 year old Teese wah (well broken in input jacks) after the resistance I felt. If I had time off from work or when I do I am returning these. Read more
