My periodontist said that since they are soft silicone brushes, I should gently and carefully poke under the gum line of my molars because it will bring out popcorn husks and help prevent tartar build up that needs to be removed by deep plane cleaning, exactly what I had to see her for!. I still recommend manual flossing but I’m a dental hygienist go figure. These remove debris and plaque and help massage (I’m also an LMT so had to reference massage lol)the gums. Seriously.
