I had a huge anxiety issue with transitioning my baby from a weighted sleep sack to this product. Not because of the product, but because of me personally. But oh my gosh, the moment this came in, I couldn’t stop touching it. The material is extremely soft, the sizes are absolutely true to size, and it doesn’t twist on the baby at night. I had a very hard time with putting baby in her bassinet (momma had attachment issues) and I thought getting this would help me know she will sleep better, comfy, and warm in her bed next to me. She LOVES it! as do I! Is it so soft and like the perfect thickness where it keeps her warm at night. My 4 mo was sleeping through the night in the magic sleep suit but he started to roll over. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the Magic suit anymore and switched him to the Halo transition suit and he woke up non stop. His startle reflux just kept keeping him up. After a few days, I decided to buy this based on the reviews. I am so happy I did! He absolutely loves it. It’s SO soft. It’s obviously not as thick as the Magic Suit but I believe the long sleeve, buttery fabric and the slight plushness is a great alternative. He does wake up once at night now. Edited and dropped to 1 star. After only 2 or 3 washes, the seams have begun to separate as other reviewers have noted. It seemed well made at first, but not anymore. Too bad. For the price this is especially frustrating. The good: soft, warm, plenty of room for baby to kick and move, awesome zipper system for diaper changes. Not so good: the arms are way too tight! I almost returned it because of this, but we needed a long sleeve sleep sack to keep our baby warm at night. She’s only 6 months and not particularly chunky, but the arms are just so snug, especially over her sleeper pajamas, and it seems like it will be uncomfortable for her in just a month or two, even though I got the 9-18 month size. It also doesn’t feel particularly “weighted” as described. Overall a fine sleep sack and good for the cold winter weather but I wish the arms were loose fitting. Read more

We have tried a few different sleep sacks with both kids and we always come back to this brand. It is a little more expensive but it’s worth every penny. The perfect length and width ( some sleep sacks seem narrow)… this is perfect. I love the size ranges and the different weights. The fabric is so soft and cozy as well. I’m a bit bummed out because we have used and loved gunamuna swaddles and sleep sacks since our babies were born. Not only was shipping delayed but I was sent the wrong pattern - I received the chilly goose version instead of original goose version which isn’t a huge deal but for the fact that I ordered the chilly goose one too and this one took an extra 3 weeks to arrive. I am also disappointed because after washing on a normal cycle with baby detergent, zipped up like I always wash them, this one immediately had a hole in the seam under the arm and one of the zipper pulls broke off. I will say that, while they are incredibly soft and comfortable seeming for our babes, these sleep sacks are not the most durable and I did know that - I have had zipper and shipping issues in the past with their other swaddles too- this was the durability experience so far as it happened off the bat. Just things to consider. They are adorable sleep sacks that are extra roomy and cozy - so we are keeping it even though it was the wrong item, our babies sleep better in them than most anything else. Gunamuna will always have our hearts! These are the softest most durable sleep sacks. Easy to wash, will survive the drier if you accidentally put them in too hot/too long, and my 15 month old loves them. They definitely shrink if you dry them so keep that in mind. And the texture can get a little pilly if you dry them as well but if you follow the care instructions they don’t. Regardless they hold up very well. Plenty of leg room but snug enough in the arms and shoulders- my guy is so cozy and comfy. His room gets very cold and these keep him warm. This is our 4th one and we love them. They’ve survived two full on puking sessions, plenty of bottles and some blow outs- all without a single lingering smell etc… If you’re looking for a mid priced sleep sack worth every penny this is definitely it!
