I recently got this power block, and it has exceeded my expectations for such a tiny charger. My primary frustration with previous chargers has always been their bulky size, which often blocks the other outlet. This block solves that problem because it's compact, about the size of an old Apple block charger that used to come with iphones and ipods, ensuring the other plug is always free. Despite its tiny form factor, the charging speed is excellent, charging my iPhone to 13 pro to about 55% in 40 minutes. The design is sleek, with a glossy white finish and a hard, clear plastic shell that adds to its durability and aesthetic appeal. The charger does get a bit warm when charging, but not super hot. I recently got a new electric toothbrush that requires a dedicated USB wall charger, but the only one I had on hand was an old, giant, Motorola phone charger. It's huge, ugly, and black, so it clashes pretty hard with the white aesthetic of my bathroom. I couldn't be happier after replacing it with this one. Not only is this one much, much smaller, but it's also somehow more powerful too at 20 watts of output. The design is cool too. It has that typical, white plastic build, but it also has a hard, clear, plastic shell that surrounds it. It gives it a cool look, and I would imagine it offers better durability too. If there was one negative, I would say the price is a bit high. At $20, it's quite a bit more expensive than a lot of competing options. This one does beat many of them in pound-for-pound features (size, charge speed, design, etc), so the high price is somewhat justified. This is a great phone changer to have on the go—it's tiny, weighs almost nothing, but will still charge phones to tablets quickly enough with 20W of GaN power. Make sure you're using a decent cable to take advantage of the full power. The only con I can think of is that the charger is so small that the plug isn't foldable—a small sacrifice for the tiny form factor. This little USB-C charger performs exactly as advertised. Using my rudimentary power draw monitor, I can confirm that it would produce a consistent 18-19W of power delivery. That's more than enough to juice up most modern smartphones. It also had no trouble keeping up with my iPad Pro, which I was also pleased to see. My only criticisms, and they're mere nitpicks are: 1) The brick gets a bit warm when operating at full capacity, though it's not what I would consider alarmingly hot. 2) It would be nice if the outlet prongs could be folded.
