GYS Open Front Cardigan for Women Bamboo Viscose Lightweight Womens Cardigan with Pocketes Long Sleeve Casual Relaxed Coat

I ordered the XL in Violet. I love the color and the fit, except for the sleeve length and sleeve diameter. I took a star off of my rating because the sleevs are too short and are very skinny. I'm not able to push the sleeves up or to layer another long sleeve shirt underneath. The 95% bamboo fabric material is soft, slinky, and stretchy. It drapes very nicely, and is easy and comfortable to wear. The fabric is lightweight, and perfect for AC or to use for a slight chill. The open front fits well, and I really love the side slits at the hem. The relaxed long cardigan style is flattering. I'm 5'6", about 195 lbs, and have a bust size of 44F. The XL fits me well, except for the sleeves. If GYS produces another cardigan like this, I'd suggest longer and looser sleeves with a thumb keyhole design. Read more

Soft material. The cardigan feels long on a 5’3 person but I don’t mind that too much. The material is a bit thinner than expected so the shirt underneath cannot be too bulky or you’ll notice it in the sleeve area. A basic style that will go along with most things! Happy with it overall. Bonus: the product is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100… meaning it’s made with safer chemicals and fabrics. I always appreciate when clothing has this certification. Read more

I really wanted to like this. To begin I'm a pretty reliable medium, but I'm large busted, and have long arms, so because of this I ordered it as a large, hoping to accommodate my bust and long arms, and make sure it was still loose and flowy. Sadly that didn't work. It wound up not only being short on my arms, but very short. However it wasn't short enough to be considered 3/4 sleeve as it was too long for that. I gave it to my daughters, the eldest of which is a small. Despite being a small she's also large busted and long armed for her size, and she found the sleeve length too short. My youngest was the only one where the sleeve length was comfortable, but she's a XS and was otherwise swimming in the garment. So, I'm really disappointed as outside of the fit it is really nice. The fabric is light and soft. It has a fair amount of stretch to it which gives it the nice smooth, flowy sort of look I like. The color is nice, dark, and even. The stitching at the seams and hems was good and straight, no loose threads. It would be a really nice garment if it weren't for the fit. May suit other body types much better than it did ours. Bamboo cardigan, it doesn't get much better. Soft, comfortable, easy fit. XL offers a relaxed fit so it works well if you layer your clothing. The sleeves run a little short, however, the cuff at the wrist is small and will keep the sleeve in place if you choose to push the sleeve up to be 3/4 length. Front pockets are slanted and deep enough to securely hold a cell phone or small wallet. Walking side slits. Overall length falls mid-thigh for average to tall women. GYS is a great bamboo/viscose company. I have many of the nightgowns and PJ sets. This is a 3/4 (maybe a little longer) cardigan that is longer, soft, and has great versatility. I have worn it at least five times and while I wish it were full length sleeves, its great for summer. Bamboo is really soft and breathable and helps regulate temperature year round. I am 5'8, 195lbs, and ordered a Large. Overall, it fits well; however, I wish the arms were longer. My arms are longer than average, and I air-dried it so that the sleeves wouldn't shrink as they are already short before washing. The fabric is buttery soft, and it's lightweight for summer nights.
