My husband loved these pants so much he ordered one in every color! He loved the lightweight wrinkle resistant fabric with slight stretch. He was initially worried about the "athletic fit" thinking it might be too tight, but it turned out to be true to size and very comfortable. He appreciated that they were not too narrow at the ankle. I washed and dried the pants on the permanent press cycle without any shrinking and they came out of the drier wrinkle free! The pants seem to be well made although my husband did notice that there was much reinforcement of the seams in the crotch area. Haggar has traditionally made roomy dress slacks you might find on an older gentleman in a quiet office or to wear to any semi-dressed up event. I'm stereotyping here to make the point is that these Haggar pants make a far more contemporary impression and would look great on a younger, active, athletic man as well as on an older guy. These slacks are not tight, but they are not high waisted or baggy around the crotch like old style dress pants. Although some of the photos show them worn as very tight pants that don't even cover the ankles, I ordered my normal size and they fit like regular pants, not skin tight and covering the ankles down to the shoes. Worn this way, like normal pants, they have a modern, athletic fit and feel. They fabric is a slightly stretchy material which looks and feels great and doesn’t hold any wrinkles (which is probably why they're advertised as "sport travel"). They have a straight leg with room for the butt and quads for guys that work out, but again, they aren’t baggy and would look sharp on any man. I didn’t think I would like these pants as much as I do but I love them! I’ve been wearing jeans and another major brand’s (who usually makes jeans) version of dress slacks for years, because I don’t like baggy, high waisted pants. Haggar is solidly in the 21st century with these flat front casual dress pants. They can be considered “casual” but they have a tailored, crisp look and would look nice with a dress shirt. These are now one of my favorite pairs of slacks. I'm a short guy with broad hips and a big butt for my size and it's really difficult to find well fitting pants. I did need to hem these shorter, unfortunately. I wish they had shorter inseam options. That said, they otherwise fit great and I don't have any pocket puckering like I often get in other pants. Typically, when the pants fit me in the waist, they are too tight in the hips and butt, but these are perfect. The fabric is really light and moderately stretchy while still looking professional. This makes them really versatile and stylish. They are definitely wrinkle resistant and feel comfortable. Their first two washes went without a hitch and the color didn't fade at all. This is my review of the Haggar men’s sport travel performance athletic fit flat front stretch casual pant. I ordered size 34 waist x 30 inseam in black and they fit true to size for an athletic fit (it’s slimmer in my seat and thighs). The black is a nice jet black. The fabric is smooth and stretchy, and I like that Haggar made it with 56% recycled polyester. The front pockets are deep enough to hold my phone, and back pockets are equipped with buttons, which I really appreciate, to help secure my wallet. One suggestion for improvement: add a second button to fasten the fly to help the pants lay better. For me, they wear better with a belt to help not expose my bottom when I squat. I also paired these with taller dress socks to help not expose my bare legs when I sit. After machine washing, a couple wrinkles remained from the shipping, so you may need to touch up with an iron if the wrinkles bother you. I didn’t see any shrinking or color fading. I expect washability during travel will be easy. After my initial wash and wear experience, I believe these pants should be long lasting. Read more
