I've never seen an alarm clock that looks like this before. The display seems to somehow overlay the wooden area of the front of the clock. If you dim the display a bit you can even see the wood grain showing through slightly. Very neat looking! So far the clock has been very accurate after setting up the time and date. The display is large enough to see even in the next room. You can set two alarms: one for weekday and another for weekends if you prefer to wake up at a different time on weekends. There's ten preset color choices for the display and five different brightness levels. It can also auto adjust the time for daylight saving time but I haven't been able to test that out yet since DST doesn't end for a few more weeks. The instructions are easy to follow and make it easy to set up the clock. There's only a couple of negatives I've noticed with this alarm clock. One is the colors of the display only has ten different settings and there doesn't seem to be one that satisfies everyone in my household. I think it would have been better to allow more customization of the colors or have more presets that have everything the same color. Also, the alarm even at it's loudest setting may not wake up a heavy sleeper. The positives definitely outweigh the negatives with this alarm clock. It's easy to see, easy to set up, and looks great. If you're a heavy sleeper it may not be the one for you, but it should be fine for everyone else. And it's not too expensive at the moment so that's another positive.
