So I’ve been using styling powder for my two young boys for about six months. This is the second brand I have gotten so I do have something to compare it to. For us this hairstyling powder was OK but not our favorite. The reason being was this is more of a texturizer. This makes your hair feel dirty in a way that helps shape it, but it doesn’t last very long there’s no sense which is nice and there is quite a lot of product, but I did not find this powder to have enough hold to actually style my children’s hair without it falling down before they even got out of the car line. Now on the flipside this might be better for older adults who have longer hair who are just looking to put some texture in their hair so it’s not so slick after washing. It does provide a decent amount of volume. I will also say as a warning you do need to wash your hair multiple times to get this out. Do not trust your kids to just go in the shower and wash their hair as normal because they will come out with crunchy hair that goes for most styling powders but this one, especially! I think this product is good for the right person, but if you’re like me, and you’re wanting it to hold my children’s hair up and out of their face without having to spray hairspray and gels, and all the other products out there, this isn’t it. This volumizing and texturizing powder just didn’t work for me. Everyone is different so this may work for others out there. Note, when you push down on the plunger…a light cloud of powder poofs out everywhere…so make sure it is aimed where you want it to go. It doesn’t have a smell. But it definitely makes my hair feel tacky and gross. The little volume it did give my hair was minimum and short lived. After a few hours it made my hair look oily. My hair is on the shorter side of medium and is very fine in texture. Maybe this would work better for very short hair? Either way…I am not a fan. Read more

This hair styling powder is ok. It does absorb some grease and add a little body to your hair. I didn't feel like it held very well. It also takes a little extra effort to shampoo out of your hair. The biggest issue for me was that it goes everywhere. So much of the product just floats away in the air and I have to try not to breathe it in. Read more
