Used for a trip to Spain - awesome for carry several slacks and a suit and several shirts, plus two pair of shoes, socks, and a rain jacket and under garments. Carried on to the plane with zero issues. Can get heavy if you fill it, so be mindful of that. It’s a lot of walking through Ohare and Madrid airports and it has no wheels. It will be my go to bag for trips requiring a suit or nice shirts. Zippers are good quality and I like the design. Great bag! I got this bag so that I could take my formal dress to a wedding recently. Both my dress and my husband’s suits made the trip wrinkle free and we had plenty of room for the weekend trip. Having just the carry on item was nice and easy at the airport. Wish it had wheels but sadly it doesn’t. The materials the bag is made of are of good quality zippers are easy to use and are better than other garment duffel bags I sent a couple back because the zippers were weird and looked of poor quality. Good for weekend local trips (no flight required) My suit size is 42 regular and shoulder width just fits with very little to spare. I would not say it keeps suit wrinkle free when flying or keeping suit in bag for long periods. Down side may be that you need to unpack to get to your suit. I was able to pack 2 suits with shirts, dress shoes (9.5 fits) and 2 casual pants, 3 sweaters, underwear, socks, and belt. (6 pair boxer briefs/under shirts). Usually I use separate toilettes bag. I could fit minimal toilettes in this bag like toothpaste and toothbrush and comb/brush). Nice bag for short stays (overnight or 2 days). You could use 2 Half day bags for longer trips and more versatility unless you must have a roller bag. (I prefer to shoulder carry and hand carry the other bags for trips not requiring lots of walking - This does not carry like a backpack) overall I am happy with the bag’s style, look, capacity, durability- I have used both as carry on and stowaway. I have had this bag for a year now and I have taken it on 7 trips now and it has been perfect for me. I know some people had issues with the zipper after there 3rd trip but I did not have that issue. It has been my go to travel bag. I will mostly buy another if something where to this one Read more
The bag is a great idea with some flawed execution. The design is solid and it did keep my blazer and shirt from becoming too wrinkled. The flaw though is in the hardware and shoulder strap. The bag can naturally become heavy when packed and the shoulder strap is NOT well-designed or padded for this, leading to a lot of discomfort. In addition, the plastic connection for the strap squeaks. It’s really noisy. It is literally audible to those around while walking and will drive you crazy. If these two aspects are addressed, the. Great quality duffel holds so much more than you’d think. I use packing cubes to organize my clothes when I travel and they fit nicely into the duffel. Zippers and material are highest quality and should hold up well. Also, the garment bag feature is great for when you need to pack something nice. All in all carry-on to avoid having to check a bag.
