This is my little one’s FAVORITE swaddle! We had to purchase more after he was born. It looks warm but it’s lined with a soft satin fabric. We keep our home at around 70-72 degrees and he is not too hot. Usually he is in just a diaper or in sleep & play footies. It is easy to wrap him up tight and he doesn’t get it loose. The quality is fantastic! We have dogs so hair gets caught in l Velcro but it still functions great! It isn’t super breathable because it has multiple layers but my newborn is comfortable in it. A bonus is, if he has a blowout, it contains the mess and is easy to clean, just pop it in the wash and comes out STAIN FREE! Highly recommended if your little one’s likes to be swaddled. Our first child was born recently, and after watching how effectively swaddling worked in the hospital we decided to invest in a sleep sack. This sack is great and works well for our needs. The color is spot on with a baby blue (think North Carolina basketball blue), and is incredibly soft. The arm holes work well, even with long sleeve onsie and the length is quite good (20.5 inch for our child when born). The velcro is strong, but you can still reposition and the stretch of the fabric lets you get a strong swaddle without being too constricting. We keep our house at 67 degrees, and the room that our child sleeps in is registering at 64 degrees on the monitor. We are also in the Northeast, so temperatures outside do dip. A long sleeved and legged onsie, combined with the sleepsack, keeps our little one at a good temperature and sleeping comfortably. I was a bit hesitant to use a swaddle, as I didn't have to use one for my previous kids. But this was a life saver, my youngest wouldn't sleep without being swaddled as he would jerk himself awake. I loved that I could swaddle him in several different positions, and that he still had the ability to move his arms on the swaddle. We noticed a big change in the quality of his sleep after using this. We also had an easier time getting him into his crib when he was swaddled.
