It’s not see-through, and the stitching looks neat and well finished. The fit is true to size. I ordered her usual size and it fits perfectly with a little room to move, but not oversized. The sleeves are a good length and the buttons are easy for kids to manage. We’ve washed it once already and it kept its shape and color well. No shrinking or loose threads so far. My daughter is usually about a 10 in girls tops. Sometimes 12. We buy size Large in girls. We ordered 11-12 size in this, and it looks perfect. NOT big though. If you are a bigger size 12, I'd go up to 13-14. Eyeballing this, it looked more like a 10 to me. The polyester fabric is lovely, silky, not see-through (not 100% opaque, but a nude or white bra is all you need not a cami under). Finally a stylish blouse for younger girls who need something professional but not just a uniform. The beige color is actually called "Apricot" on the tag.
