I absolutely love this little radio, first of all it’s perfect in size, not too light and definitely not too heavy! The sound that comes out of it is crystal clear and it has 5 power supplies that power it, being AC Adapter, rechargeable battery, AAA batteries, hand crank and solar power. Solar power may not fully charge the radio and if it doesn’t you still have 4 other means. To use the built-in battery, switch the power selector to the “LI-ION” SIDE and with AAA batteries to the AAA side. The directions on this powerful little radio are very clear and will help you with all the controls. The NOAA weather band, which is a service of the US Government, is available in 50 States, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. It is recommended to use the AC Adapter to power the radio when you turn on the NOAA Alert. It can also be used as an SOS Alert by activating the alarm, and a flashing light, and also a flashlight button Level 1, which is the brightness level and then again to Level 2 to turn on the flashlight and then one more time to turn it off. By flipping up the solar panel 90 – 180 °, you can use it as a table lamp. You can also enjoy AM/FM radio and if you need a better signal, just extend the telescopic antenna or just move the radio around. If you need to quickly start up your phone and your radio has no power, just crank the handle for about 5 minutes. All-in-all, I think this would make a wonderful gift for anyone, especially people who love to camp, or people who travel a lot especially in remote areas and just if you want to know about the weather!! What a wonderful little radio. This could be a life saver during an emergency, as it’s made to withstand extreme conditions being waterproof, dustproof & shockproof, and handy for use around the house anytime or outside activities. It’s loaded with so many features that I’m not sure what else it could possibly have. It comes in multiple colors, I chose yellow. It not only has AM/FM/7-Band Weather Channels, but it also has a flashlight on one end and an adjustable reading light on the back side. In a crisis, it also has a SOS alarm with loud siren and flashing beacon to signal for help. And has so many power sources: The radio can run on 3 AAA batteries or by its built-in rechargeable battery that can be charged and/or run by its built in adjustable oversized solar panel, USB, hand crank power, or AC adaptor (not included) with power indicators to monitor your battery charging status. It also has 2 output ports to charge external devices such as a cell phone and also has a headphone jack port. The unit comes with 1 USB to type-c cord. I’m really impressed by the sound quality and reception. With the built in multi-position extendable antenna I was able to hear crystal-clear sound inside my steel-roofed house where my other radios and cell phone barely work. The sound packs a punch and easily exceeds expectations. The owner’s manual describes all its features and is very well-written to get you started right away. The radio comes with one more feature that I almost forgot, a carrying handle for easy transport and moves out of the way to extend the antenna. I think this radio would be a great purchase for anyone. Read more
Picks up all AM/FM, NOAA weather bands, really well. The sound clarity is surprisingly good. Receiving critical emergency alerts and news during a storm/emergency is always helpful. I use it when going hiking. The solar panel and crank are really handy when going for long hikes. It makes sure the battery never dies on you. I signal is really great, did not even need to fix the direction of antenna. What makes it a great product is the sound quality. Its crisp, clear and with added bass. I love listening to FM when working from home. I would highly recommend it. It's a great value for your money. Read more

This is really handy! I needed something that could give me weather alerts since the area I live in the last few years has been more prone to tornados and when I lose power and wifi, I can’t get weather alerts on my phone. I love that there are 3 ways to charge it- solar, crank and it can run on batteries. A great feature is that it has usb so can charge a device off just a few cranks. Everything folds in, making it compact and very easy to carry and store. The flashlight works great, and so does the sos alarm and beacon. Definitely a great little piece of gear to have, very happy I bought it, brings a lot of peace of mind. Read more
