I have owned 4-5 of the aluminum competitors that are brightly painted yellow, green, and orange to match the fruit... but the heft of this piece is far superior. The key... most of my other units the pin breaks... because it takes all the stress. Time will tell... but the pin looks sturdy and is shorter (less stress/less bend).
