I needed a mixer quick and I didn't have a lot of money. This served my purpose but just barely. It seems strained just by mixing mashed potatoes and butter cream frosting. I was afraid to try cookies, because I can't be without a mixer right before the holidays. I don't have time to return it and get another one and by the time Christmas is over, it'll be too late to return it. This mixer is not for someone who bakes as much as I do. It's almost like a toy, maybe something you'd give to a young homemaker just starting out, but not anybody who's serious about their cooking. It's good for mixing cake batter, perhaps for an Easy Bake Oven, but anything thicker than that seems to make it bog down. Read more
