When we first got the Dutewo Frother, we thought the frothing action was very weak. We changed to a new battery and from that point on, the frother has worked like a charm. We put in a weak, used battery. Now, we love the frother. It is very strong, froths the milk very nicely, and is easy to use and clean. It's very good value. Would definitely recommend. We wanted to start using frothed milk in our coffee because the creamer we were using wasn't particularly healthy, although the taste was great. One suggestion, it seems like 1% milk (less fat) froths better and more foamy than 2% milk but, which one to use will be an individual preference. We're using 2% but may switch back to 1%; either milk works well. This is a recent addition to my review. Last week in just under 2 months the frother konked out. It was completely dead and unuseable. I do see, in particular, that lots of the battery frother's seem to not last very long so I don't know if we just got a lemon from this company or it's typical of the battery operated versions. I bought this to mix my collagen powder. The powder is sticky before it melts, so o wasn't sure that it wouldn't gum up the wisk. It actually did an amazing job. Much faster than mixing with a spoon, and it didn't gum it up. It has a lot of power. The wisk stick cleaned easily by spinning under hot water. I dried it and put it in the drawer. It doesn't have a stand, but it's slim and doesn't take up much room in the drawer. It doesn't come with batteries, so you need two AA. It's so much cheaper than all the others, so I really am pleasantly surprised. I also used it on my coffee with cream, and it got frothy and larger in volume very fast. I'm sure it would mix any kind of protein powder, or eggs ect. I just got it so i don't know how durable it is or how long it will work, but so far I'm very happy with it. I don't think I would display it if it did have a stand. It's a great value. I only gave it 4 stars because didn't come with batteries, but it was so inexpensive I wouldn't expect it to. Read more

Used once or twice then the metal in the battery compartment came apart. Doesn't work now and I can't fix it. The battery won't fit, as the metal that held it broke and came out. Bought one at ikea for 1/3 the price and it works great!!!! No problems at all. Read more

Disappointed After 6 Months: Stopped Working Despite New Batteries I was initially happy with the Dutewo Hand Mixer Milk Frother—it worked great for frothing my coffee, matcha, and even hot chocolate. It was easy to use, lightweight, and did a nice job creating foam for my morning drinks. However, after about 6 months of use, it suddenly stopped working. I tried replacing the batteries with brand new ones, but it still wouldn’t turn on. Unfortunately, this makes me feel disappointed with the quality and durability of the product. I really wanted to love this frother, but I can’t recommend it based on my experience. It’s great at first, but not reliable in the long run. Read more
