I love it! It works great! The size is definitely portable, and it absolutely heats nice and shows a great finish on it's abilities. It doesn't have a suction feature to PULL anything out of any fabrics but it definitely seems to boil the gunkto the surface 🤔 Was a bit interesting to learn how to really use it. Before I reviewed for the vine I had a fairly popular review about a steam cleaner. In that review I criticized the TV version of the handheld steamer that my father had purchased. I think a lot of people related to that because it was a steamer that held about 6 or 8 oz of water which only lasted about 5 minutes or less. Funny thing was the cost of it was roughly the cost of this particular steamer. The good news is this is a much better steamer and rather than 5 or 6 oz of water it holds 37 so you get a good 40 minutes or so of steam. It comes with a nice array of tools and it's nicely compact that will fit under my bathroom sink so I can use it to clean the shower or the bath or the toilet periodically. Well there are some cautions to be said about steam cleaners. The main one being that you can actually melt certain plastic things if you're not careful. But if you're really germ conscious a steam cleaner is definitely your friend. Well antibiotic cleaners like they use in some hospitals do a fairly nice job. On occasion they can create what's called super bugs basically germs that survive the initial onslaught. Those germs then are a little bit harder to kill the second time around and may be resistant to whatever cleaner you're using. Unfortunately for the germs they don't have any resistance to steam so it's not likely to create any kind of a problem by overuse of antibiotic cleaners steam is gonna kill them. As long as you get the steam on the areas no germs are going to survive. Plus it's very good cleaning up grease or soap scum in the bathroom or the kitchen. Again my only caution with steam is be careful working around plastics especially flexible ones. I once tried to use a steam cleaner around some plastic blinds and they started to melt so I wanted to clean the dirt off of them but I got a little bit more than what I intended. This steam cleaner works as described. Initially I had an issue with it not wanting to turn on; the red light would come on, then turn off. At one point it flashed rapidly, but very faintly. I don't know if this was supposed to be some sort of error message, but it eventually started working and has been working since (about five or six uses so far). I will update if it does it again, but for now, it's working fine. This steamer gets very hot. Chances are, you won't need to use it on the highest setting. The lower settings seem quite effective. It also works in a pinch to steam fabrics; I used it to get wrinkles out of a very large photo backdrop, and it did a fine job of removing most of the wrinkles and relaxing the most stubborn wrinkles. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised by this product. All the accessories are included. It's very lightweight and portable. Our windows were very dirty, and I was looking for a way to clean them without chemical cleaners, without having to pay for professional cleaning. We tried this product, and the results were surprisingly good. We even used it to clean old stains on our folding tables and chairs. The results perfectly matched the instructions. Read more
