I had heard about the usefulness of these dryer balls and was very surprised that they actually deliver on their promises. Using a vapor-sensing cycle with medium heat, I find that my cycle time is cut nearly in half! A most wonderful bonus is that my shirts and similar light items are now dried fluffy and wrinkle-free, and even heavy towels come out fluffy too. Gets all the lint off my clothes, easy to use, very smooth and soft, very thick wool, great quality, helps shave time off my drying time. They are kind of loud in the dryer but it is four wool balls being tossed around a metal drum. Not sticky. Read more

I have been using these for a couple weeks now and they are working great. It keeps things in the dryer so they are not bunched up and are able to dry and I think it helps dry faster (but I have not really tried any tests, because I really don't like to watch close dry) you do hear the wool balls bouncing around but we close the door to our laundry room so that is not a problem.
